This is a question that someday will have a definitive answer. I dont think that love should have any color at all! I am not just attracted to one race. I am attracted to good people. Color doesnt matter to me. The stigma attached to 2 different people loving eachother and building together is crazy! I have thought about this question so much, as my preference is pretty strong and being that I am a firm believer in the oneness of all mankind, I had to check myself on this again and again. I keep coming back to this. I have always been attracted to the music from Black culture, that I was born with. But then as time went on I found myself being more passionately involved in other things which bring me continually back to the Black Community. Some cultural, like singing Gospel music, going to Black open mike poetry, Global hip hop, (the socially conscious stuff) and groups desiring to heal racism and concerned with injustice. All of what we love, what fills our memory banks, what we are drawn towards, what brings passion to our hearts - that?s what cause's attraction. So I do love Black men. I find them potentially powerful beyond measure. I have met educated, spiritual, strong Black men who respect women, take care of their families, are involved in the community and honestly, I believe they are Americas hope and perhaps even the worlds. So, I have not just drifted to this site out of curiosity.

747....you do have the right to express your opinion, however, there is a big difference to your current post and the one you posted earlier....the word u used currently is "most".....it may seem silly, but i have noticed that in explanation, especially from the brothers, they generalized, grouping all women in one category....some people including some sistas have the belief that ALL white women are docile in comparison to Black women and that's what the brother's are interested in, THAT is alot of BS...and what it does, is give the impression that Black women are somehow inferior or do not know how to "cherish" their men.... which then brings me to the point, if you use "all" then you are implying that the negative views include your female relatives....and we do not need that....i give it to the females as well as the males ....because although i date interracially (i use that word, cause I'm not limited to white only!)I still hold my brothers in high esteem and do not exclude them, since the men in my life show me that there are good black men out there.... you can take offense, you can bring down sistas if you choose to.... but, i always ask my friends this question, if you have dated white only and the relationship does not work out, let's say it ended negatively. Do you then group all white women/men and say what you are saying about your own or do you look at that individual as the one with the problem and move on?...cause if you do, why can't you say the same for your own brethen?....if you do not understand, i'll give you an example: a friend of mine has dated 2 black men, they were jerks, but she dated about 20 white guys and the were pr--ks, yet she still goes around saying that she will never date another black guy cause they are A$$e$?...huh!!...so what about the 20 white dudes?...if you can reason that the white guy is an individual, then why can't the explanation be the same for black?.....once again you are free to express your opinion, i just think it is sad, that some people of our own community, can't stop feeding the same stereotype, that we are so passionate to avenge when another says it!!
